Why Praise

John 4:23  “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

Psalms 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”

Why We Stand to Sing

Revelation 7:9-10 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with aloud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Lifting of Hands

Psalms 63:4 “Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.”

Psalms 134:2 “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.”

Audible Praise

Psalms 98:4 “Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises.”

Why Dance

Psalms 30:11-12 “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, 12) to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”

Psalms 149:3 “Let them praise His name with the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.”

Acts 2:17-18 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. 18) And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.”
